Make something silly.
Get your hands dirty.
A cozy hand-built pottery studio in Munich. Bring your idea, we'll bring the clay.

From UX screens to muddy hands.
I'm a UX designer who loves beautiful objects, slow rituals, and a good cup of matcha. What started as a tiny matcha bowl collection slowly turned into a full-blown clay obsession — and now Silly Clay is my little home studio in Munich.
Every piece here is hand-built — shaped with hands and simple tools, no pottery wheel involved. That's where the name comes from: clay gets a bit silly when you let your fingers lead. Wobbly is the whole point.
I host small classes for grown-ups, kids, and everyone in between, and I sell the pieces I make at home from this very same studio.

How it works
Shape with your hands
Spend 3–4 hours hand-building whatever you like — no wheel, just fingers, tools and snacks.
Paint or wait
Paint your piece on the same day, or come back for a second session after it's bisque-fired.
We glaze & fire
Your piece rests in the kiln — slow magic that takes about 3–4 weeks.
Take it home
Meet your new favorite object. Wonky, wobbly, and 100% yours.
